Licensed and Compliant with Ontario Building Regulations
In Ontario, anyone constructing or selling a new home must be licensed under the Home Construction Regulatory Authority (HCRA). This includes builders, vendors, or real estate professionals acting in those capacities. Selling a newly built home without proper licensing is illegal and can result in fines of up to $50,000 for individuals and $250,000 for businesses, as well as imprisonment. Mega General Renovation Corp. is fully licensed as both a Vendor and Builder under the HCRA, ensuring all projects meet legal, safety, and warranty standards—including registration with Tarion where applicable. Clients can rest assured that their project is in the hands of a qualified, law-abiding builder.
