Licensed and Compliant with Ontario Building Regulations

In Ontario, anyone constructing or selling a new home must be licensed under the Home Construction Regulatory Authority (HCRA). This includes builders, vendors, or real estate professionals acting in those capacities. Selling a newly built home without proper licensing is illegal and can result in fines of up to $50,000 for individuals and $250,000 for businesses, as well as imprisonment. Mega General Renovation Corp. is fully licensed as both a Vendor and Builder under the HCRA, ensuring all projects meet legal, safety, and warranty standards—including registration with Tarion where applicable.
